Symphony Tour

The Jόdische Kulturbund Project is honored to have a tour de force of performances by world class orchestras featuring music from programs performed by the Jόdische Kulburbund and highlighted in the documentary film production.

During the tour, each orchestra will perform a different combination of pieces, interspersed with excerpts from the documentary film where feasible. The Symphony Tour will perform in major cities around the world, including:

Performances may include one or any number of the following works, as desired by the local symphony orchestra:

A music CD will be released in conjunction with the Symphony Tour. The tour is projected to begin after production for the documentary is completed. The Symphony Tour will travel, when possible, in conjunction with the Traveling Exhibition.

The Project Team welcomes internationally-renowned orchestras to partner with the Project for these performances. Partnership recognition will include the following:

• Recognition as Companion Program partner in all event related materials

• Special thank you and recognition at Pre-Concert Lecture and Post-Concert Reception with high level sponsors

• Speaking opportunity for Conductor at Pre-Concert Lecture and Post-Concert Reception

• Recording opportunity for Companion Compilation CD

• Recognition in liner notes of Companion Compilation CD

• Recognition in Companion Book, highlighting the making of the documentary film production, with in-depth survivor stories, insider production anecdotes, archival photos, and feature stories on companion programs, such as the Symphony Tour

Other aspects of partnership, such as performance ticket sales and use of venue for Pre- and Post-Concert events, will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis, as will additional benefits requested by partners.
