ARTISTS FOR A FREE UKRAINE
CALLING ALL ARTISTS
Polish Artist Jerzy Janiszewski created the symbol, using the same original font he used to create the now-iconic symbol for Poland's Solidarity movement 40 years ago. American artist Lisa Freeman used his symbol to create a mixed media drawing that captures the heroic determination ofthe Ukrainian people to remain free of Putin and Russia.
We're asking artists around the world to join Lisa and Jerzy, using Janiszewski's symbol to create art that expresses their support for Free Ukraine; denounces the war crimes Putin's army is committing every day in Ukraine; demonstrates to Ukrainians they're not alone; and encourages others to do what they can to support Ukraine.
Send your work to THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY POLITICAL ART and we'll publish it in The Swamp Report and/or send it to your followers on Twitter and other social media to help start a global campaign denouncing Putin's aggression and supporting Ukraine's brave struggle to remain free.
