Thanks to the generous support of Jeffrey Slavin, the Mayor of Somerset, and Wendy Frosh, member of The JK Project advisory board, we enjoyed a successful and fun event with friends (including new ones), my mom, board members (Jean Arnold, Beth Boles, Corrine Gormont, Joanne Hurt, Isabel Mignone, and Patrick O’Donnell), and artist Joan Belmar. We raised more awareness about and interest in our efforts to tell the story of the Jewish artists from Nazi Germany and contemporary artists response to oppression around the world and convey their courage, power, and love for peace and tolerance.
