Kenya Girls Share Digital Stories
In October 2022, The Jüdische Kulturbund Project and Mandela Washington Fellowship Reciprocal Exchange Awardees traveled from America to collaborate with Dua Ya Dada and Keymar Women CBO in Kenya. We led a 2-week immersive storytelling workshop with 15 girls in a remote compound called Cheptebo, located outside of Eldoret, a city in the Rift Valley of western Kenya. The girls explored the power of art and music and learned digital storytelling techniques to express their resiliency.
